Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will have rap tips of the Vikings

The Vikings had a variety of cultural traditions, from democratic tips and formal duel rituals to one of the earliest known forms of what we now call rap battles (when two compete in the RIP genre using special rhyme). You see, the Vikings had rhymed fights with insults, confirmed by both historical records and mythical ones. For example, between the gods Odin and the Thor or between Loki and literally any other god, because nobody liked Loki (the god of cunning and deception).

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will include this poetry in the form of a rhymed battle between the main character of the game Avor and other warriors. These are mass competitions, where warriors often sitting at the table in the feast hall playfully insult each other according to the rhythmic scheme. How will this happen, the creative director of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla:

Viking rap Battles, You Say? @AshrafAIsmail will get you up to speed on how this all-new feature works in Assassin`s Creed Valhalla.#AssassinsCreed #ACFacts WB9BEYO0yC
