Electronic Arts cancels the EA Play Live event this year

This year, Electronic Arts will not hold the EA Play Live event and will not participate in any of the game presentations and conventions planned for this summer, including E3. EA Play is traditionally held in June, about the same days as E3, but the studio decided that this year it would be better for them to publish small fragments of information throughout the year, and not to drop everything into one big event.

"We love Ea Play Live, as this is our way to communicate with our players and share with all your news. However, this year things do not work out to show you everything at one meeting. In our world -class studios, exciting things are taking place, and this year we will tell you much more about these projects when the time comes for each of them. We are looking forward to spending time with you throughout the year! "

In addition to FIFA and Madden, the EA game line this year includes three new games on Star Wars, including the continuation of Jedi: The Fallen Order and Dead Space remake.

Meanwhile, this year E3 will remain completely digital event, even if other game conventions return to traditional full-time events, such as GDC 2022, which will be held in San Francisco from 21 to March 25.
